This Dem Hints At Challenging Trump In 2020

Former Vice President Joe Biden refused to rule out a 2020 presidential run on “Today” Monday.

When asked if he could have beaten President Donald Trump in the 2016 election, Biden said “the polling data at the time said yes and since then,” but that “you got to be in the race” to know for sure.

Host Matt Lauer used that answer as a set-up to ask him if he’s in the race for 2020, to which Biden laughed.

“Look I can tell you honestly, if the Lord almighty came down, sat in the middle of the table and said ‘Joe, the nomination is yours but you got to take it now,’ I would say no, because … I am just—we’re working through a whole lot. We’re getting there and I want to focus on my boy,” Biden said.
