When has a president ever tangled with sports stars? Particularly ones that were spouting about social justice? The president fueled the rating nose-dive and caused some serious heartburn at the National Football League by at least pushing networks to not show the disrespectful kneeling. That’s a culture-changing move from President Trump, who took heat for saying athletes should be fired for the displays.
