A South Korean official made news when he said that the North Koreans want to have a normalization of relations with the United States, which would include having a Trump-branded hotel and a McDonald’s in the isolated communist nation. This isn’t as weird as it sounds when you consider Vietnam; we were once bitter enemies, now they have a China-like fake socialism with all the capitalist trimmings. Who needs war when you can have a Big Mac?
