Kavanaugh famously authored the Starr Report, documenting the case against Bill Clinton. He said that investigations interfere with the ability for the president to do his job and are”inevitably politicized by both their supporters and critics.” Kavanaugh basically said to hold off on investigations until after they are out of office, which is different from saying he shouldn’t be investigated.
