It’s not just the Department of Justice that was duped by Steele’s fake dossier. The DOJ sought FISA surveillance based on the information provided “by the U.S. Department of State” “in or about October 2016.”. Last month’s revelation that Steele had met with State Department officials in October shows that those who worked under Hillary Clinton and John Kerry were also looking to surveil the Trump campaign based on the DNC funded Steele Dossier. This shows that the DOJ, State Department, and FISA Court all fell for this partisan scam, and abused our intelligence gathering resources to spy on the Trump campaign.
