With a close majority in the Senate, Senator Rand Paul held a lot of leverage over Trump’s Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh. Senator Paul was not sold on the nominee, citing concerns with Kavanaugh’s views on the 4th Amendment.

On Monday Rand Paul announced he would support Kavanaugh and vote for his confirmation.

Rand met with Judge Kavanaugh last week to go over the concerns he has with him. Apparently, that meeting went well and secured another vote for Kavanaugh.

Judge Kavanaugh still faces a tough confirmation battle, but with the support of Senator Rand Paul, his path just got a lot easier.
