A woman from a small religious Jewish town was run down by a man in a vehicle and left to die after she was hit by the car. The man now identified as a taxi driver registered to the Palestinian authority abandoned his vehicle after he ran over the woman and would run on foot to a nearby village. There he told the local Palestinian officials that it was an accident, many who saw the incident would dispute his claim and a look at the location would also lead one to the disbelief of his story. This was a well-lit junction and there were no skid marks on the scene, this is also the site where a local rabbi (one from the same town of the Jewish woman) was gunned down for his religious beliefs.
