During the Presidency of Ronald Reagan, the force of communism was beginning to crumble and fracture, the Presidency of George H.W. Bush was the final straw on the camels back. The Berlin Wall fell under his term and this was a huge marker in the crusade against communism. The Berlin Wall that divided Germany’s Berlin since the end of the second world war had finally prevailed, the west had won. This marked, for many, the end of the cold war.
