There was going to be consequences for the lockdown, everyone agreed that the number of those who were unemployed was going to skyrocket after the lockdown started. Many “experts” diverged when it came to when these jobs would come back. These people suggested that Unemployment would remain high but when the May job numbers came in they couldn’t be more wrong. They estimated that Unemployment would be as high as 20% when in reality it was a little more than 13%. By no means are these stellar numbers, but they were better than the conservative estimates and the “experts” prove to be wrong again.
