Patagonia clothing CEO Ryan Gellert condemned Georgia’s new voter ID law and pushed for other CEOs to boycott the state. However, the brand still has over 13 factories in China. In 2013, Patagonia released the following statement on its decision not to remove any of its Chinese factories.
“We’ve made the choice not to disengage from countries on the basis of their policies. We believe in choosing factories wisely and in constructive engagement with others to lobby or work for change.”
