Elementary Students Taken to Gay Bar

Students at Wilton Manor’s Elementary school were taken to a gay bar for a class field trip. 

Boward County School Board Member Sarah Leonardi was a chaperone on this field trip to Rosie’s, a popular gay bar in the area. Sarah Leonardi even tweeted about the trip saying “I was SO honored to be invited to chaperone … the students and I had a fun walk over and learned a lot about our community!” 

This move by the school and county outraged parents and for good reason. Most parents probably wouldn’t want their elementary school students to be taken to a bar of any kind.
