Democrat Squeaks Out Election Win
In a special election to fill a seat formerly held by a Democrat, leftist Pat Ryan narrowly beat Republican Marc Molinaro to fill the remainder of the term in New York’s 19th Congressional District. The seat, due to redistricting, will end up with both Ryan and Molinaro on the ballot in November in different districts.
