A Band-Aid on a bullet wound
Gas prices devastated Americans and it was all Joe Biden’s Fault. He cancelled the Keystone Pipeline, started a war in Ukraine, and made it harder to drill in the United States. Biden even had the audacity to claim it was a good thing gas prices were so high. Meanwhile Americans struggled to put food on the table and meet their daily needs.
This was a huge boon for republican votes until Biden drained our emergency reserves. The price of gas has been dropping, but not because of any long-term solution. All of the problems that caused our gas crisis remain, but now we’re unprepared for another crisis.
Regardless, since Americans are in less immediate pain, they’re less likely to feel the urge to vote Republican.
