Trump’s Dominance: Primary Declared Over by Surrogates, VP Debate Initiative Launched.

Trump Surrogates Declare Primary Over

Key surrogates for Former President Donald Trump, Kari Lake and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, have proclaimed the GOP primary is essentially wrapped up.

Their confidence stems from Trump’s commanding lead in the polls, as Trump is up roughly 40 points on the competition. With Lake likening the imminent debate to a mere “little league game,” the message is clear: they see Trump as the uncontested leader.

MAGA Super PAC’s VP Initiative

An intriguing development comes via the Trump-supported MAGA PAC, which has launched VPDebate2024.com. This site urges supporters to select a vice presidential candidate from those debating. This strategy suggests that Trump’s camp is not just focused on the primary, but is already scouting potential VPs, a point that Trump has previously touched on as well.

Trump Opts Out of RNC Primary Debate

Donald Trump is notably absent from the upcoming Republican primary debate in Milwaukee. Hosted by the Republican National Committee (RNC) and Fox News Channel, Trump’s decision to skip it points to his ongoing disagreements with Fox. A point Kari Lake touched on, saying at Fox News, “They’re for anybody but Trump.”

Instead, Trump opted for a simultaneous broadcast, a pre-taped interview with former Fox News host, Tucker Carlson, who also has his own grievances against Fox News.
