The Biden Administration repeatedly said that no one knew that the government of Afghanistan was going to fold like a lawn chair the second we pulled out, the intelligence community and almost all of Washington would beg to differ. 

It was clear to everyone in Washington that the Afghan government was going to fail if the US withdrew from the region. What was not clear to everyone was the speed at which the government collapsed.
