Fighting COVID-19

Multiple pollsters have reported that American citizens are primarily focused on each candidate’s plan to eradicate the Coronavirus. Presumably, Joe Biden will attempt to claim that had been in office when Coronavirus struck that there would have been far fewer deaths and try to claim President Trump has mishandled the virus. However, nearly all of Biden’s suggestions on how to appropriately combat the virus have already been implemented by President Trump.

American families

Each candidate is extremely focused on winning over the trust of American families. This will give each candidate the opportunity to exemplify how his policies will impact American’s day-to-day lives.

Race in America

Since the death of George Floyd sparked unrest across the nation the topic of race in America has been at the forefront of everyone’s minds. This topic will give each candidate the opportunity to speak directly to the American people about the issue and the misconceptions surrounding it.

Climate change

Climate change will give each candidate the opportunity to clearly identify his policies, especially after Joe Biden has famously flipped his decision to ban fracking multiple times to the press. Hopefully, in this debate Biden will give one clear answer and stick to it, but I wouldn’t count on that.

National security and leadership

This will give President Trump the opportunity to boast his impressive record over the past four years. President Trump has successfully brokered a peace deal between multiple Middle Eastern countries, a feat man thought was impossible. Unlike most politicians, President Trump has kept his promises to end pointless wars and bring American troops home. Former Vice President Biden will most likely try to spin his 47 years in office as experience that will help him be a better leader yet many see it as 47 years of failure to actually make a positive change in America.
