Video Games and other forms of entertainment are going to see a steep increase in costs. This move is a direct result of 2 things, general economic inflation, and an industry-wide push to change prices. 

The gaming and streaming industries are looking to inflate prices all on their own. The streaming industry intends to increase costs by a few dollars a month, this doesn’t seem like much but it will add up quickly. The gaming industry is looking to push beyond the $60 price tag most AAA game studios have been stuck at. 

General inflation is also pushing these prices higher. With gaming and streaming being so popular many families will have to account for these price changes when it comes to giving gifts.
